WHAT IS EDUCATION: |
|
Aristotle said,
"Education is the creation of sound mind in a sound body."
Education is very complex task. Its object is not only
academic development of the child but its object is all
round development i.e. physical, spiritual, mental,
aesthetic, moral, intellectual development etc.
An educational institution must be a sacred temple providing
opportunities to its budding scholars to change them into
lovely blossoms. School is not only a building, but teachers
and students make the school.
A teacher is like that candle which burns itself by giving
light to others. |

FROM PRINCIPAL'S DESK: |

|
 |
|
So shed off all the distractions, that wavers you,
tarnish your life. Try for what you want and never settle
for less.
Manjeet Kaur Lotey
Principal |
|
"Confidence, like art, never comes from
having all the answers, it comes from being open to all the
questions."
Dear Students,
Attitudes are self created. You are free to choose to be
victimized by circumstances or you can choose to look at
life with an open mind and victorious.
"Always face towards the sun and the shadow will fall behind
you."
Concentration and hard work is the 'Mantra' of success. All
of you have certain innate talent and you are equipped with
zeal and enthusiasm to achieve your cherished goal.
"Success is not measured by what a person accomplishes, but
by the opposition he has encountered." |

It is a matter of great pleasure that we
(S.H.S.P. School) started small grew big and today we stand
fully grown in all our splendour, touched in behind us two
and a half decades (25 years) glorious years of achievement.
It is an ecstatic amazement to see this institutions which
took its birth in 1986 i.e. brain child of Mrs & P.S. Sokhi
and Mrs. M.K. Lotey with only a handful of students (7
students and a skelton staff) from teachers and Mr Sokhi
with Mrs Lotey moving from door to door to persuade children
and parents to join this school it is a sea charge finding
that portal of this school opening to a couple of thousand
or odd selected number of seekers of knowledge on
prestigous merit. Behind these achievements lies a sage of
dedication, toil hard work. , perserance and countless hours
of training, coupled with physical and mental endurance and
a drive for excellence. A glittering profile of
Director/Principal and teachers with the helping hand of all
concerned members of the school deserve the credit for this
upward march. It is said that actions speak than words.
This institution is a unique like a family where character
is formed values are created, hands and hearts are developed
for love. Education not only equips the students for life
but also provide inspirations to some fellow beings. It
rests on our youth to make for all a better future for
theirs/family and for the country to which they belong, away
from turbulence and strife with peace and good will to man
or person.
Tree of education is bitter but fruit is sweet. It is also
very important to keep in mind that PEN IS MIGHTER THAN
SWORD. The victories of the sword is short lived. No one can
dispute the power which pen wields us making or marsing
governments etc.
In the end, I wish and pray to Almighty that S.H.S.P.
School discovers new horizons in the future course of time |
